Oriental Insurance Company Ltd is a leading public sector general insurance company in India.
Oriental Insurance made a modest beginning with a first year premium of Rs.99,946 in 1950. The goal of the Company was “Service to clients” and achievement thereof was helped by the strong traditions built up overtime.
ORIENTAL with its head Office at New Delhi has 23 Regional Offices and nearly 900 operating Offices in various cities of the country. The Company has overseas operations in Nepal, Kuwait and Dubai. IRDA (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority), the regulatory body that governs and licenses all players in the insurance industry, issued the TPA License (No. 005) to MDIndia in March 2001.
The company currently provides service to more than 4 million members using State of the Art technology.
